Having worked with many opera programs in Carnegie Hall in New York with some of the greatest names in opera, and conducting much of the Italian repertoire including US premieres of Mascagni and Rossini, Maestro Marchini is bringing his knowledge of Italian repertoire to Europe as well. He remains active with Opera Orchestra of New York, and this season will lead La Boheme and collaborate on Dom Sebastien of Donizetti, the Rake's Progress in Paris, and Les Troyens in Geneve.
He is supported in all his endeavors by his able and beautiful daughter, Laura.
